Terminology

For the purposes of this agreement (the 'Agreement'), the Platform is referred to as 'we', 'us', or 'our'. Users and other visitors to the Platform are referred to as 'you', 'your', or 'User'. Collectively, 'we' and 'you' are referred to as 'both parties' and individually as 'a party'.

Processing and Retention Period for Personal Data

We will process and retain your personal data for as long as required by law, or for the period agreed when we collected it from you.

Collaboration with law enforcement agencies during investigations.

As a rule, we retain your personal data for 1.5 years after you delete your account, or if your account is deactivated due to misuse. This period allows for any reviews by financial institutions or investigations by the authorities. If no such reviews or investigations occur, we will permanently delete your data at the end of this period.

If an investigation into a legal offence is in progress, we will retain your information until the investigation concludes.

If any debt or credit remains outstanding in relation to your use of our services, we will retain your information until the balance is settled.

Scope of Application

This Agreement applies to all Users who trade on the Aureus Valtrix Global website and its mobile app (the 'Platform'). Users must comply with the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations governing personal information and data protection in their respective country or region.

Invocation

Any reference in this Agreement to codes, statutory instruments, or administrative regulations is to the latest amended version, whether the amendment occurred before or after this Agreement was signed.

Headings in this Agreement are included for convenience only and must not be used to interpret the terms and conditions. Any references to statements, terms, conditions, annexes or schedules are to those contained within this Agreement.

Guidance on the use of the term ‘include’

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the term 'include' in this Agreement means 'including, but not limited to'.

Information Collected

Users agree that the Platform may use cookies to monitor their activity while using the Platform and to collect various information, including, but not limited to, IP addresses, geographical locations, and other relevant data. For example, we may use video (including audio) recordings to verify the identities of P2P merchants and as evidence in P2P order disputes. We may also use facial video (including audio) for Aureus Valtrix identity verification on third-party platforms..

Limitation of Liability

Although the Platform employs technical and security measures to safeguard your information, we cannot guarantee that data transmitted over the internet is 100% secure. Accordingly, we do not make any assurances regarding the security of the personal information you provide, and we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your personal data.

Updates to this Agreement

We reserve the right to update this Agreement at any time. If we change the Privacy Policy, we will notify you by posting the update, including the new effective date and details of the changes. In some cases, we may also send you a direct notice. Please review the Privacy Policy regularly. By continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.

Official announcements will be issued only via the verified contact details you have provided or by posting them directly on the Platform. We accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on information obtained through other channels.
